The Cunningwoman's Garden
She preferred to live alone, away from the village. She was believed to be magical, and maybe she was, but she was mostly just very clever. People came to her for advice, stories and medicine. She didn't particularly enjoy the visits, they interrupted her. There are few things more annoying than pleading footsteps when you're sitting on the porch smoking a pipe and enjoying the wildlife.
