Madagascar
To stay with him would mean her old home was no longer hers, accepting this new way of life like a gift, refusing everything she'd been taught. But if she left him, she would be at the mercy of the wilderness, of any hunters that found her... of the fossas.
I'm actually brewing a story about fictional indigenous tribes on Madagascar before white men came, saw, and conquered and nearly hunted many of its endemic species to endangerment or even extinction. Enjoy the sounds of a Silky Sifaka, two Indri howling together, a Ringtail, and the island's top predator, the fossa.
